LA's Old Hall of Justice Gets a Facelift

For two decades, Los Angeles County's historic Hall of Justice has been an empty relic of LA noir. It sits where LA had its gallows during the 19th Century. Now, after a $250 million renovation project, it's about to re-open, and tourists will be able to see the cell where Charles Manson was a prisoner on trial for multiple murders.

KCRW's Saul Gonzalez reports on the building's past and future. (We have photos of the building, including Charles Manson's cell on our WWLA blog.)
