What Latino Plurality Means for California
California's population will hit a benchmark next month, the result of major changes in demographics — just since the year 2000. Back then, 46% were white and 32% were Latinos. Now, both groups are about 40% with Hispanics about to become the largest "race or ethnic group." KCRW's Saul Gonzalez has been catching up with the numbers.
