Bruce Bauman: Broken Sleep

Hosted by

Bruce Bauman confesses that his new novel, Broken Sleep (Other Press), is difficult to summarize – and that's fine with him. The pages swarm with characters in search of meaning and find, instead, aborted meaning. In fact, the strangely named characters find themselves in a world where everything is broken. In a sense, the novel itself is like a family with everyone, including the reader, struggling to find a place, a home, a sense of community.
