Don DeLillo: Zero K

Hosted by

In Don DeLillo's latest novel, Zero K, the practice of cryonics or freezing oneself to be awakened later, is in full, but secret swing. DeLillo talks about the finality of death, the desire to purchase immortality, and of the implications of abnormal global longevity and what it might mean for the arts. The arts figure prominently in his writing style as well. He talks about being extremely deliberate with each sentence, since he sees each one as a representation of a form of visual art.
