What You Should Buy This Weekend from the Farmers’ Market:

– Almonds from Fat Uncle Farms (Almonds are in the hot seat this week because of their heavy use of water. Farmer Nate Siemens tells us the future of his almond farm is uncertain)

– Microgreens from Maggie’s Farm Stand (Picked right after the first leaves develop)

– Squash blossoms (Look for them at Life’s a Choke and Valdivia Farms)

– Strawberries (Look for them from Harry’s Berries, McGrath Family Farm, Tamai Family Farm and Fairview Gardens)
