Remember when you bought all those canning supplies? You were going to make jam all summer while the peaches were sweet and the blackberries at their peak, right? If you are like me and have these episodes of food-delusion, you probably have a cupboard full of empty jam jars. The good news is, this fall and winter you can put those jars to good use without blanching, peeling and cooking 20 pounds of fruit. Make a jar of bread instead!
