This week on Good FoodEvan speaks to filmmaker Grace Lee about her new documentary, Off the Menu: Asian America, which premieres in LA on Sunday, October 25, at the Japanese American National Museum.

As a co-production by the Center for Asian American Media and Northern California’s public broadcasting station, KQEDOff the Menu is a road trip into the kitchens, factories, temples, farms and lives of Asian Pacific Americans that explores what they eat as a reflection of these ever-evolving communities.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by writer/sociologist Oliver Wang, featuring chef Minh Pham of Porridge + Puffs; artist-cum-caterer Saehee Cho of SOO N and Johneric Concordia of Park’s Finest.

Tickets and more info can be found here. The wider release comes to PBS in December 2015.
