For home cooks, those daunting recipes with ingredient lists that take up a whole page can be all they excuse they need to opt for take-out. What ever happened to keeping things simple?

On this week’s Good Food podcast, Lou Amdur, proprietor of Lou Wine & Provisions tells us about some of his favorite three ingredient meals and the wines he pairs with them.

Here are some of his choices:

-Comté nachos with cornichons + Château-Chalon

-Sardines, beans and avocado + Txakolina

-Nuts, smoked salt and butter + Amontillado sherry

Do you have a favorite three ingredient meal? Let us know in the comments.
