Deep End Diner Eddie Lin recently attended a Nutria dinner put on by LA’s Gastronauts. Nutria, in case you aren’t familiar, are beaver-like rodents that are all but rampant in New Orleans. Residents in the Big Easy have been encouraged to trap and eat the rodents both as both pest control and free food. So far, with the exception of adventurous eaters, the trend hasn’t caught on.
