Brian Williams is coming back, but not to NBC Nightly News -- not full time, anyway. Instead he’ll be a breaking news anchor on MSNBC and a fill-in host on Nightly News. Lester Holt was officially named the full time host of Nightly News.

Fox is in an interesting moment of transition as the details of Rupert Murdoch’s succession plan continue to fall into place.
