  • For the past couple of years, Sony and Disney’s Marvel Studios had a unique arrangement that let them share custody of Spider-Man--that’s why the webslinger appeared in the most recent Avengers movies and why Marvel’s Kevin Feige consulted on Sony’s new Spider-Man movies. But now, that deal seems to be done. The two studios are in a standoff, neither willing to budge.

  • As protests continue in Hong Kong, the star of the upcoming Disney live-action ‘Mulan’ movie posted in support of the police on social media. This has prompted a #BoycottMulan movement, which puts Disney in an awkward place.
