I first got hipped to Yuna via a single that begin to float around the blogs a couple months back called “Live Your Life”.

The track had a dance tempo but very lush in soul and instrumentation. The drum track reminded me of something that I could not put my finger on. But then it hit me. Neptunes? Pharrell Williams?
I did my research and found he had produced the track.
Yuna was from Malaysia. Her music blended well into my radio sets and soon stayed in rotation. Then a listener actually posted the lyrics on my Facebook page and told me how inspired she was by this song. For some odd reason, I was moved by the tone and chords of the song, never realizing that the lyrical content was about something so beautiful. See below…
