LA Times senior staff announced this week that their digital subscriptions are far below expectations, and the company’s future depends on rapid revenue growth. The Times has gone through major changes over the past year. It moved its headquarters, expanded its newsroom, and launched new podcasts and other digital content. But those changes aren’t translating into more revenue.
