If I Had a Son, He'd Look like Trayvon

President Obama speaks out on the killing of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin. Is it right for a president to weigh in on a federal investigation?

This week the Justice Department announced it was looking into possible federal charges against George Zimmerman, the Neighbor Watch volunteer who shot an unarmed African-American youth in Florida. The President spoke out on the matter, saying, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon". Also, familiar kid's toy -- the Etch-a-Sketch -- became a favorite prop on the GOP primary campaign trail to describe candidate Mitt Romney's tendency to shift positions. The Supreme Court takes up the Obama healthcare plan next week. And US Army Staff Sgt Robert Bales has been charged with murder in the killings of Afghan civilians. To the Point's Warren Olney sits in for Matt Miller. Robert Scheer (Left) is joined by Shawn Steel (Right).
