Police Troubles & Rolling Stone's Apology

Hosted by , , and

Protests continue around the country after a grand jury cleared a white police officer of a chokehold death. Bob Scheer asks, "Are grand juries going to allow police officers to be held accountable?" Keli Goff sites studies of racial bias and who is becoming a police officer. Rolling Stone is backing away from its story about a gang rape at the University of Virginia. Rich Lowry says that if the story is indeed true, then the fraternity should be prosecuted as a criminal gang. If not, the truth needs to come out. With threats of a government shutdown, Republican members of the House try to reverse President Obama's immigration action, to no avail. Matt Miller recommends a documentary called A Small Section of the World about Costa Rican women who are coffee farmers.

Matt Miller moderates from the Center. On the Left, Robert Scheer (TruthDig.com). Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right. Keli Goff (Daily Beast) is our special guest.
