Navigating through grief in 'Five Nights in Maine'

Hosted by and

Just a few minutes into the new film Five Nights in Maine, a husband, played by David Oyelowo, gets a terrible phone call from police telling him his wife has been killed in a car accident. The sudden tragedy sets him on a journey to rural Maine to visit his wife’s mother, who’s very sick. The two couldn’t be more deeply divided – in age and in distance – but they’re now united in grief and guilt and have to find a way to navigate that. Five Nights in Maine was written and directed by Maris Curran and stars Golden Globe nominated actor David Oyelowo.
