Lawmakers in Ohio have passed a bill that would ban abortions from the moment a heartbeat is detected. Governor John Kasich hasn’t said whether he’ll sign it. Some Ohio Republicans said they were emboldened to support it after Donald Trump’s victory and the possibility that he might appoint Supreme Court justices more sympathetic to overturning Roe v. Wade.
