Canada is reeling from COVID third wave, CDC tells fully vaccinated Americans to not travel there

Canada has more new daily cases of COVID-19 per capita than the US. That country’s population is only a fraction of ours. In fact, more people live in California than Canada. 

But it’s a dire situation for our neighbor to the north. The UK, Brazilian, and South African variants are all spreading rapidly. The vaccine rollout can’t keep up. The CDC even said earlier this month that fully vaccinated Americans shouldn’t travel to Canada.
