Doug Emhoff, Jill Biden, and rethinking gender roles

Doug Emhoff, an LA-based entertainment lawyer who hasn’t been overtly political, married Kamala Harris in 2014. When she takes office as U.S. vice president, he’s going to quit his job and support his wife full-time. Meanwhile, soon-to-be first lady Jill Biden plans to keep teaching English at a community college in Virginia.
