The wild story of a cult leader's utopian city in the Oregon desert

The Netflix series “Wild, Wild Country” is up for a handful of Emmys. It follows Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, an Indian guru who boasted the power of meditation. He also loved money, sex and cars. In 1981, he and his followers migrated to Oregon and built a new city called Rajneeshpuram. Residents of the neighboring town were not pleased. We air a special replay of Madeleine Brand’s interview with the series’ directors.
