Mass shooting survivors offer 'Peace Plan for a Safer America'

David Hogg survived the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and co-founded March for Our Lives. He said on MSNBC this morning, “We hope to come up with community-based solutions, such as violence intervention programs, and creating federal funding for programs that address the root causes of gun violence."

Today, March for Our Lives unveiled what they’re calling "A Peace Plan for a Safer America." It’s an ambitious gun-control proposal designed to set the tone for gun violence conversations after recent mass shootings in Texas, Ohio, and California. It's also aimed at shaping the debate in the 2020 presidential election.
