How climate change is transforming California’s farms

Agriculture is big business in California. But the industry faces a reckoning with the threat of climate change, especially in the Central Valley. Just outside Modesto, farmers and researchers are trying to develop new farming techniques to help the region better transition to the hotter, drier, and saltier climate on the horizon.
