California Congressman Adam Schiff responds to calls for his resignation

Republicans want an end to the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into President Trump and Russia. This comes after U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr wrote that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report showed no Russian collusion during the 2016 presidential campaign.

President Trump says the investigation “totally exonerated” him.

California Congressman Adam Schiff says, "It's an odd world that we're living in when the president can trumpet as the best day of his administration -- the day which he was not indicted."

Schiff is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. He’s getting calls to resign from the position from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to President Trump.

Schiff is also getting pushback from the left, but has support from House Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Schiff tells Press Play what he plans to do now that Mueller has found no criminal conspiracy between Russia and Trump.
