Colossal (But Not Giant) Squid

Hosted by

Earlier this year, scientists trawling Antarctica’s remote Ross Sea hauled aboard a real life sea monster: a 770-pound colossal squid. The opportunity to examine these astonishing creatures is very rare. And it’s just not the scientists who are fascinated: something like 142,000 people from 180 countries watched the dissection live online.
