Government spending bill undercuts minor league ball players' suit over salaries

Major League Baseball season starts today. But down in the minor leagues, players are often barely scraping by financially, with some making as little as $3000 for an entire season. Players have filed a lawsuit to change that, but a little-noticed provision in the recent spending bill makes it unlikely much will change.
