Do Republicans see Russia as friend or foe?

Donald Trump’s seemingly cozy relationship with Russia represents a split within his party. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said, “The Russians are not our friends.” But during the campaign, Trump praised Russian leader Vladimir Putin. This split is related to the party’s view on Islam.
