A new show at the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara brings together avant garde film with a cultural and artistic exploration of the American South. Quilts, Cigarettes & Dirt (Portraits of America) features a variety of works by California artists, James Benning. And is also the second show curated by the museum’s new executive director, Abaseh Mirvali.
The show opens Thursday, May 16.
