Obama, India and Afghanistan

At a White House news conference this morning with India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President Obama gave a preview of how he'll explain his decision about Afghanistan. He vowed to "dismantle and degrade" the capabilities of al Qaeda and other extremists, and called Afghanistan's stability crucial to that process.

At a White House news conference this morning with India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President Obama gave a preview of how he'll explain his decision about Afghanistan. He vowed to "dismantle and degrade" the capabilities of al Qaeda and other extremists, and called Afghanistan's stability crucial to that process.
