New York State has offered a $100,000 reward for two murderers who escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility, a maximum-security prison in upstate New York near the Canadian border. David Sweat was convicted of shooting a sheriff’s deputies more than a dozen times. Richard Matt was serving time for beating a kidnapped man to death.
