A former professor at USC who’s now at Duke, Legal Affairs magazine calls Chemerinsky one of America’s “top twenty legal thinkers.” He signed a contract a few weeks ago, but on Tusday UC Irvine’s Chancellor Michael Drake rescinded the offer.
