Uranium Contamination in the Central Valley

In California's Central Valley, there's uranium in the drinking water. Hundreds of thousands of people are at risk of kidney damage and cancer from long exposure. Many private homes and public school districts rely on contaminated water wells, and public health warnings are sporadic at best. That's according to the Associated Press in a report co-authored by Ellen Kickmeyer.
