    Kevin Sinnott is a nationally recognized coffee expert and the curator of  Coffee Companion .  Cascara is  a coffee byproduct made from the dried "cherries" that are cast off during bean harvesting.  It is also known as coffee cherry tea.  Kevin recommends using a French press device for brewing cascara.
