‘Israeli Soul’

This year the modern Israeli restaurant Zahavin Philadelphia turned ten. Zahav co-owners Michael Solomonov and Steven Cook have a flourishing restaurant group that includes a donut and fried chicken concept, falafel shops, and hummus bars. Several of the duo’s projects were inspired by their multiple trips to Israel over the years. Now those excursions have yielded a new cookbook and travelogue called “Israeli Soul.”
