I got you, I feel good! What a show we have tonight! We start with a scorching Thai rendition of the James Brown classic I Got You (I Feel Good) and it goes from strength to strength. I took advantage of all the new stuff that had come in since I have been away and it’s great. New DEVO and Kraftwerk remasters are great. I think tonight’s stand out scorching track is the PIL track. Before I left, I read on a site about a Johnny Lydon DVD called The Best Of British £1 Notes that had unreleased mixes of tracks from the 2nd Public Image Ltd. Album, Second Edition. I found a used copy and hoped that I would be able to get the audio off the DVD somehow. I got back here last week and was able to do it and DAMN THE TRACKS ARE SCORCHING!!!!!!!!!!

Keith Levene insanity. I can’t stop playing this track!

I am sure you are noticing a lot of music from some band called The Minutemen on our show tonight. D Boon, the band’s guitar player died on 12-22-85. I was thinking about him on the 22nd this year. I remember when he died, it was a very bad time for all of us. We canceled a week of our tour to deal with things. You also see that we are listening to a lot of music from Africa as well.

I am leaving in the morning for Senegal and then onto Mali for the Desert Festival. I checked Vieux Farka Toure’s site and he will be there, can’t wait to see him. I am told that Tinariwen will be there as well. It will be my second time at the festival. I can’t wait! New Slayer album is really great, tonight, the title track, it’s a beast. If you go to the Teenbeat site, you will see that there’s two new live Unrest CDs. Of course, I ordered mine as soon as I saw them. They are great! More Unrest! The Horrors track is going to rock you. It’s from an Alan Vega Promo CD that I got on e-Bay. It’s The Horrors covering the great Vega, really cool.

Also, new Hawnay Troof album track featured tonight. Vice Cooler cannot be stopped! Great album. Tonight’s show is a great way to finish the year and I hope you like it. I will be all over the world next year and I hope to see you on tour. Engineer X and I have been working on shows and as well, we will be doing shows from the road and will try to provide some very cool stuff to keep you stoked. I am heading into two weeks of malarial adventure and couldn’t be happier. 2009 was a great one and next year, I am going to make as much trouble as I can. Be safe over the holidays and STAY FANATIC!!!
