Enjoy the show and STAY FANATIC!!!
Feb 11, 2019

Fanatic! As promised last week, in hour two, we will listen to the new mastering of the 40th anniversary edition of the Ruts classic album The Crack. Right off the test pressing on its second play. The transfer sounds great. We will finish the hour with the first Ruts A side and the last Ruts single. The hour is great from start to finish.

Fanatic, if you’re in North America, I’m not sure when this album will be in the shops. As far as I know, there is no domestic deal for this album yet. I’m cheerleading as best I can to get it pressed here.

The new Le Butcherettes album is out as is, the new Lorelle Meets The Obsolete and the new White Fence album. It’s going to be a great year for records.

We have a lot of great new music in our first hour and the Ruts for the entire second half of the show.

Our good pal and sonic ally, Alicja Trout sent us some new music and has given us the green light to turn a track and of course we’re going to do it soon.

I wanted to tell you that a few days ago, I was listening yet again, to Ty Segall’s great collection of covers, Fudge Sandwich. Usually, when a band makes a record like this, it’s because they’re out of ideas. I don’t think that will ever be Ty’s problem! The more I listen to Fudge Sandwich, the more I think it’s one of the most interesting records he’s done. It’s great. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I hope you do. I think Ty should make a record like this every year.

Very excited to be able to bring this show to you.

Enjoy the show and STAY FANATIC!!!
