I hope you had a great week. I’m not sure if you’re aware but the great Brian James of the Damned has passed away. If you were a fan of the first two Damned albums, that’s the lineup of the band he was in and he was the primary songwriter.

I hope you had a great week. I’m not sure if you’re aware but the great Brian James of the Damned has passed away. If you were a fan of the first two Damned albums, that’s the lineup of the band he was in and he was the primary songwriter. This is tough news.

To make sure we never miss a show, as best we can. we try to work in advance. When we got the news about Brian, we had already made tonight’s show. I apologize for not having any tracks with Brian’s great guitar work and a show that acknowledges his passing.

I’m glad that the original line-up of the band featuring Captain Sensible on bass, Dave Vanian on vocals, Rat Scabies on drums and Brian on guitar had a chance to tour recently. In a statement issued by the Captain, they had planned more shows with Brian.

Over the years, I carefully saved everything Brian ever sent me from the emails, the records, to the packages because they featured his handwriting. He was an amazing player and this is a true loss.

Joey Molland of Badfinger has also passed away. I interviewed him many years ago and we kept in touch. They wrote some great songs.

We have prepared a great show for tonight that reflects the change of seasons, and hopefully the buoyancy and effervescence of the tracks will provide an excellent soundtrack for the rest of your weekend.

Thank you so much for tuning in. Have a great night and stay Fanatic
