Oakland, California has just decriminalized psilocybin and other psychoactive fungi and plants. This comes weeks after Denver, Colorado approved similar legislation.

Oakland’s resolution says that investigating people for growing and/or possessing these psychedelics will be among the lowest priority for local law enforcement. But this decision does not legalize the sale or distribution of mushrooms.
