The time has come once again to shred into some cellophane. And when the sounds are this good — think: Caribou’s designed-with-the-dance-floor-in-mind new album Honey and The Smile’s second LP of 2024 Cutouts — we’re tearing in with some extra zeal. Plus, Christmas in October? Why not? Dean & Britta are teaming with Sonic Boom to release what promises to be the dreamiest, haziest, most melancholic (complimentary) Christmas LP this side of Low’s Christmas. Dean & Britta & Sonic Boom’s A Peace of Us is due on Nov. 22 and you can hear their take on the Willie Nelson classic “Pretty Paper” right here and now.
