Alfred Starr Hamilton: A Dark Dreambox of Another Kind

book.jpgAlfred Starr Hamilton (1914-2005) lived most of his life in obscurity and conceived a peculiar poetry at once somber, celestial, and lucent. The Song Cave press has just rediscovered Hamilton's eclipsed oeuvre, and published a new selection of his work, A Dark Dreambox of Another Kind. Song Cave editorial duo Ben Estes and Alan Felsenthal and poet Amanda Nadelberg read poems from Dreambox and reflect on their experience editing this unsung enchanter who only wanted to "tell the story of our stars."
