As galleries shift to virtual and appointment-only models, does that change people’s relationships to art?

Most museums and galleries across LA County are currently closed. Many have moved to a virtual viewing, and some are doing appointment-only showings. 

Art goes on. But have people’s relationships with it changed? A big aspect of art is seeing it, especially up close. And if fewer people are going to museums and galleries, does that change the art itself?
