People who work for Uber, Lyft, Postmates, and DoorDash can control their own hours, but they don’t receive health insurance, workers comp or paid leave. Some like it that way, while others don’t.

People who work for Uber, Lyft, Postmates, and DoorDash can control their own hours, but they don’t receive health insurance, workers comp or paid leave. Some like it that way, while others don’t. In Sacramento, the drivers who want to remain independent contractors are protesting a state assembly bill heading to a Senate hearing today.
