Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was formally indicted today on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust. Netanyahu, the country’s longest-serving prime minister, had been under investigation for nearly three years.
Israel is currently facing a possible third election in less than a year, after both Netanyahu and his main political rival, Benny Gantz, failed to form a government in Israeli parliament.
