More girls than boys are suffering mentally, says CDC

Nearly 60% of teen girls report feeling persistent sadness or hopelessness – the highest rate seen in the last decade. Nearly a third say they seriously contemplated suicide, and the rates are even higher for LGBTQ teens. That’s all according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control.
