How a TV producer created the TV star who became our president

There are lots of reasons Donald Trump was elected president. But there may be just one man responsible: Mark Burnett, who created “The Apprentice.” Burnett is still producing successful TV shows, like “The Voice” and “Shark Tank.” He runs MGM Television, where he oversaw “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Fargo.” Patrick Radden Keefe wrote a profile of Burnett for the current issue of the New Yorker.
