Democratic Congressman Gil Cisneros on why he supports a bill that would help address the crisis at the border

Congress is set to vote on a bill today that would deliver more than $4 billion in emergency aid to help address the crisis at the border.

But it’s not a sure thing that it will pass.

Some Democrats are pushing back, arguing that any new money would just go toward the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigrants.

Meanwhile, Republicans are siding with President Trump, who’s threatening to veto it.
