Why millions are flowing into the state Superintendent of Public Instruction race

Hosted by

The race for California’s Superintendent of Public Instruction is one of the most expensive state races in the nation. At $50 million, there’s more money flowing into this race than most U.S Senate campaigns. Both candidates are Democrats. Tony Thurmond is a state assemblyman from Richmond. Marshall Tuck used to run a charter school network.
