Crew Abandons Second Migrant "Ghost Ship" Off Italian Coast

For the third time in the past two weeks a ship carrying hundreds of migrants has been found drifting and out of fuel in the Mediterranean off the coast of Italy. Coastguards say the vessel left from a Turkish port and was abandoned by its crew. This cluster of incidents marks a shift in tactics as smugglers pack old ships with migrants and set them adrift in coastal waters.
