Guns were fired into the air in Gaza City today after Israel said it accepted “a complete ceasefire” negotiated in Cairo. During 50 days of fighting, 2100 Palestinians were killed and many thousands more have been displaced from their homes. Almost 70 Israelis lost their lives; the last today when a final mortar round from Gaza struck a kibbutz near the border. Noah Browning for Reuters joins us from Jerusalem…
