Crisis in Greece and Ukraine Puts Angela Merkel Front and Center

Last week alone, German Chancellor Angela Merkel travelled 12,000 miles back and forth, visiting leaders in seven national capitals on two continents in just eight days. With Vladimir Putin at one end and Barack Obama at the other, she was trying to keep Greece in the Eurozone and make some kind of peace in Ukraine.  Some observers call Merkel the default leader of the western world.  Is she the right one for the job?
