Goodbye, Barbaro: Much-loved Racehorse Euthanized

Barbaro , the winner of this year's Kentucky Derby , gained sympathy all over the world after breaing down in his next race, the Preakness .  Veterinarians and trainers have been working since May to keep Barbaro alive, but today they gave up the battle and put him to death.

Barbaro, the winner of this year's Kentucky Derby, gained sympathy all over the world after breaing down in his next race, the Preakness. Veterinarians and trainers have been working since May to keep Barbaro alive, but today they gave up the battle and put him to death.
